The California Alliance for Digital Equity (CADE) is OPPOSING key bills that block our digital equity priorities this year:

*PRIORITY* AB 353 (Boerner) - OPPOSE: CADE opposes AB 353, which sets a dangerous “separate and unequal” precedent for internet access in California that would leave our most marginalized communities with subpar service and extremely limited consumer protections.

AB 470 (McKinnor) - OPPOSE: CADE opposes AB 470, which would allow AT&T to abandon its “Carrier of Last Resort” (COLR) commitment to providing basic telephone service to California residents.
